Milton Keynes Dons’ current badge is a circular crest with the full name “Milton Keynes Dons Football Club,” a gold central “MK” chalice-style monogram, a red dot, and “MMIV” at the base, the Roman numerals for 2004.
The roundel shape was introduced for the 2025–26 season and is designed to reference Milton Keynes’ famous roundabouts, while also giving the club a cleaner, more mature city-focused identity. The full “Milton Keynes” wording replaced the shorter “MK” to put the city name more clearly into the crest.
The central gold mark is described as the “MK Chalice,” with the letters forming a trophy-like shape to suggest celebration and legacy. “MMIV” marks 2004, when Milton Keynes Dons adopted its present name after Wimbledon FC’s relocation to Milton Keynes.
The red dot is a local reference to Milton Keynes’ early promotional identity, while the white, black, red and champagne-gold palette keeps the badge minimal and modern compared with the club’s previous shield-style crest.
