The Eerste Divisie, officially known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, is the second division of Dutch professional football. Founded in 1956, it features 20 clubs competing in a double round-robin format, with each team playing the other clubs once at home and once away. The current Eerste Divisie champions are ADO Den Haag, winners of the 2025–26 season. FC Volendam are the most successful club in Eerste Divisie history, while the competition has also been won by clubs such as ADO Den Haag, Cambuur and De Graafschap. Each season, leading eligible clubs can earn promotion to the Eredivisie directly or through the promotion play-offs, while reserve teams are subject to separate eligibility rules.
