Primera Federación is the third division of Spanish football, sitting below LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion. Created in 2021 as part of the restructuring of the Spanish football pyramid, it replaced the old Segunda División B as the main national third tier. The 2025–26 season features 40 clubs divided into two regional groups of 20, with each club playing a home-and-away league schedule within its group. Group winners earn direct promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion, while additional promotion places are decided through play-offs involving the next highest-ranked teams. The bottom clubs in each group are relegated to Segunda Federación.
