Serie A is the first division in Italy, organised by Lega Serie A under UEFA. It was founded in 1929 and currently features 20 clubs competing nationwide. The 2024–25 champions are Napoli, who claimed their fourth Scudetto. Most titles: Juventus (36), Inter (20), AC Milan (19), reflecting more than a century of top-flight competition. Three clubs are relegated each season; double round-robin, 38 matchdays, with home-and-away fixtures. European qualification: 4 spots for the UEFA Champions League, 2 for the Europa League, 1 for the Conference League.
