Atalanta’s new logo, unveiled in May 2026, replaces the previous oval crest with a cleaner circular badge built around La Dea, the club’s defining mythological symbol. The design features a white profile of Atalanta against a solid blue background, enclosed by a black outer circle, removing the club name and founding year to create a simpler and more internationally recognisable emblem. Her flowing hair has been redesigned into five black strands, representing the five founders who established the club in 1907. Inspired by the circular Atalanta crest introduced in the 1980s, the 2026 redesign places greater emphasis on the goddess from Greek mythology whose name the club adopted and from whom the nickname La Dea (“The Goddess”) is derived. The figure first appeared in Atalanta’s badge during the 1960s and remains central to the club’s visual identity.
