The Indian Super League is the top division of Indian football. Founded in 2013 and launched in 2014, it is organized by the All India Football Federation and currently features 14 clubs. The current Indian Super League champions are East Bengal, winners of the 2025–26 season. The competition has used different title formats across its history, including a League Winners' Shield and play-off-based ISL Cup, with ATK, Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan among the most successful clubs of the ISL era. Promotion and relegation connect the Indian Super League with the I-League.
