Superliga (Denmark) is the first division in Denmark. It was founded in 1991 and currently features 12 clubs. The 2024–25 champions are Copenhagen. Most titles: Copenhagen (16). Relegation is to the Danish 1st Division; the league plays a 22-match double round-robin regular season before splitting into a championship round (top six) and relegation round (bottom six), with the bottom two clubs relegated each season. European qualification: 1 spot for the UEFA Champions League (league champions), 1 for the Europa League (Danish Cup winners) and 2 for the Conference League (league runners-up and the winners of a European play-off involving teams just below the top positions).
