LaLiga (Primera División) is the first division in Spain. It was founded in 1929 and currently features 20 clubs. The 2024–25 champions are Barcelona. Most titles: Real Madrid (36), Barcelona (28), Atlético Madrid (11). Three clubs are relegated each season; double round-robin, 38 matchdays. European qualification: 5 spots for the UEFA Champions League, 2 for the Europa League, 1 for the Conference League.
