Segunda Federación is the fourth division of Spanish football, sitting below Primera Federación and above Tercera Federación. Created in 2021 as part of the RFEF league restructuring, it is a national semi-professional tier divided into regional groups. The 2025–26 season features 90 clubs split into five groups of 18, organized geographically to reduce travel and keep regional rivalries within the league structure. Group champions are promoted to Primera Federación, while teams finishing below the direct promotion places enter promotion play-offs and the lowest-ranked clubs are relegated to Tercera Federación.
