Belgian Pro League is the first division in Belgium. It was founded in 1895 and currently features 16 clubs. The 2024–25 champions are Union Saint-Gilloise. Most titles: Anderlecht (34), Club Brugge (19), Union Saint-Gilloise (12). Relegation is to the Challenger Pro League; after a 30-match regular season, teams enter championship, Europe and relegation play-offs, with the bottom two (15th and 16th) relegated directly and 14th playing a promotion/relegation play-off against the Challenger Pro League’s third-placed team. European qualification: 2 spots for the UEFA Champions League, 2 for the Europa League and 1 for the Conference League, allocated via the championship and Europe play-offs plus the Belgian Cup winner.
