Alanyaspor badge meaning and origin

Alanyaspor’s badge is a circular crest with the club name at the bottom, the foundation year 1948, a large green triangular form, an orange circle, and a central black-and-yellow emblem. The current palette is built around orange and green, the colours the club adopted in 1982 after a statute change.

The badge’s circular structure and football-like shapes keep the design tied to the sport, while the bright orange-and-green identity gives Alanyaspor one of the most distinctive colour combinations in Turkish football. The green triangular form also gives the crest a sharp, modern silhouette that separates it from more traditional shield-based Turkish club badges.

Alanyaspor was founded in 1948 in Alanya by Dr. Ali Nazım Köseoğlu and local young people, first under names including Alanya Kalespor and later Kale Gençlikspor. The club became Alanyaspor after the 1982 change that also fixed the orange-and-green colours now central to the badge.
