The UEFA Conference League logo features a black trophy symbol framed by two green curved shapes, above the UEFA wordmark and the bold “CONFERENCE LEAGUE” name. The design belongs to the same visual family as the UEFA Europa League logo, but uses green instead of orange and a more rounded trophy-and-wave structure.
The central trophy icon is the main element of the badge. It is based on the UEFA Conference League trophy, whose 32 vertical spines represent the teams in the group stage and curve upward from the base. UEFA explains that the curved form was inspired by the flight of a football heading toward goal, a symbol of excitement and optimism.
The green side elements are part of UEFA’s “energy wave” system for its Thursday-night club competitions. In the Conference League identity, the wave is more curved and fluid than the Europa League version, reflecting the shape of the trophy and the competition’s more open, optimistic positioning.
The black typography gives the logo a strong institutional base, while the green accents help separate the Conference League from UEFA’s other club competitions. The competition was introduced for the 2021/22 season as UEFA’s third men’s club tournament, sitting below the Champions League and Europa League, and the logo was designed to give the new competition its own recognizable identity while keeping it connected to the wider UEFA club football brand.
