Dynamo Kyiv’s badge is a blue diamond with a white border, a large white cursive “Д” in the centre, the Ukrainian city name “Київ” below it, and three gold stars above the crest.
The “Д” is the Cyrillic initial for Dynamo and has been the core of the club’s visual identity since its early years within the Dynamo sports society. The diamond shape also comes from that historic Dynamo emblem tradition, used by several clubs connected to the wider Dynamo sporting movement.
The current official emblem was presented in 2011, returning to a clean blue rhombus, white “Д” and Kyiv inscription. Dynamo’s first two stars marked championship milestones across Soviet and Ukrainian football. The third star was added in 2025, after the club’s latest Ukrainian title, as a dedicated “star of gratitude” to Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
