HNK Rijeka’s badge is a white shield with a gold outline, the initials “HNK” in the upper left, and a diagonal sky-blue band carrying the word “RIJEKA.” In the lower right, a small blue-and-gold emblem contains a stylized Morčić head, one of the best-known symbols of Rijeka.
The Morčić is a traditional emblem of Rijeka and the Kvarner region, widely used in local jewellery, carnival culture and city identity. Its presence gives the badge a direct link to the club’s home city, while the white and sky blue reflect Rijeka’s long-standing football colours.
The club’s modern name, HNK Rijeka, dates from 1995, after earlier names including Kvarner and NK Rijeka. The current crest keeps the city name, club initials and local Morčić reference in a clean shield format.
