Queens Park Rangers’ current badge is a clean blue-and-white roundel with “QUEENS PARK RANGERS 1882” circling an intertwined “QPR” monogram, a design introduced in 2016 after extensive fan consultation.
The flowing initials revive the elegant script used on popular crests from the 1970s and 1980s, while the twin concentric rings are deliberately read as stylised hoops, a graphic nod to the club’s famous blue-and-white hooped shirts.
Supporters were asked whether to include older heraldic details such as crowns, shields or horseshoes, but a clear majority opted for a simpler, heritage-based mark that foregrounds the club name, founding date and monogram. The result is a modern crest that still feels rooted in classic QPR iconography.
