The current Queens Park Rangers badge is a clean blue and white roundel featuring “QUEENS PARK RANGERS 1882” around an interlaced “QPR” monogram, a design introduced in 2016 after an extensive consultation with supporters.
The flowing initials revive the elegant script used on popular crests from the 1970s and 1980s, while the twin concentric rings are deliberately read as stylized hoops, a graphic reference to the club’s famous blue and white hooped shirts.
Supporters were asked whether older heraldic details such as crowns, shields or horseshoes should be included, but a clear majority chose a simpler, heritage-based mark that puts the club name, foundation date and monogram at the forefront. The result is a modern badge that still feels rooted in classic QPR iconography.
