NK Celje’s badge is a dark-blue circular crest with a white outer ring and the words “Nogometni Klub Celje” around the edge. In the centre, a white football sits in front of a stylized castle tower, with three white stars below the ball.
The castle and stars connect the badge to Celje’s local identity. Celje is strongly associated with the medieval Counts of Celje, whose three-star emblem remains one of the city’s best-known historical symbols. The tower motif also reflects Celje’s castle heritage.
The club was founded in 1919 as I. SSK Celje and later played under names including NK Kladivar and Publikum Celje before returning to the NK Celje identity. The current badge keeps the city name, football symbol and Celje heritage references in a clean blue-and-white mark.
