AEK Larnaca’s badge is a green-and-yellow shield split vertically, with the initials “ΑΕΚ” stacked on the left side and the year 1994 at the bottom. The main yellow field shows a green helmeted figure, drawn in a classical style.
The figure represents Kimon, the Athenian general traditionally linked with ancient Kition, the city that stood on the site of modern Larnaca. The club’s full name, Athlitiki Enosi Kition Larnacas, also refers to Kition, making the emblem a direct connection between the football club and the city’s ancient identity.
AEK Larnaca was founded in 1994 through the merger of two historic Larnaca clubs, EPA Larnaca and Pezoporikos. The green-and-yellow colour scheme reflects the new club identity built from that merger.
