South Africa 2026 World Cup home and away kits

adidas designed South Africa’s 2026 FIFA World Cup home kit as a modern reference to the Bafana Bafana shirt worn when the country hosted the tournament in 2010. The jersey uses South Africa’s traditional yellow base with green trim on the collar, shoulders and sleeve cuffs, while a subtle tonal geometric pattern runs across the fabric. The SAFA emblem and Bafana Bafana protea crest are placed on either side of the green adidas logo, with SAFA describing the graphic details as a representation of the many voices that rise together in stadiums across South Africa.

The away kit changes to a deep green base with gold detailing, continuing the green-and-gold colour combination associated with South African sporting identity. It features a structured fold-over collar, tonal vertical patterned stripes, gold shoulder stripes and an adidas Trefoil logo, alongside the SAFA and protea badges across the chest. Released for both Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana, the home and away shirts also mark South Africa’s return to adidas as technical supplier for its national football teams in 2026.
