Nike designed Uruguay’s 2026 FIFA World Cup kits around the country’s football history and the Art Deco architecture of Montevideo, with the Estadio Centenario and its Torre de los Homenajes central to the collection. The home kit, named “El Alma,” uses Uruguay’s traditional celeste base with a white polo collar, dark navy piping and a classic, minimal finish. The AUF crest is accompanied by four stars in a sanded-gold tone, while an inside-neck graphic features the Centenario tower with the phrase “Uruguay Nomá.”

The away kit, named “La Gloria,” takes a far more dramatic approach with a dark obsidian base and angular Hyper Royal blue graphics across the shoulders and upper chest, accented by warm reflective details. Its pattern is inspired by the windows of the Estadio Centenario tower and is intended to create the appearance of a protective armour. Nike describes the shirt as a tribute to Uruguay’s status as the first world champions, connecting the darker alternative design with the nation’s 1930 World Cup legacy.
