PUMA designed Portugal’s 2026 FIFA World Cup home kit around the country’s connection to the ocean and its maritime heritage. The shirt uses Portugal’s traditional red base with an all-over tonal wave pattern, green trim on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, and a white PUMA logo beside the national crest. The wave graphic is intended to evoke movement and the Atlantic waters that have shaped Portuguese identity, while the kit is Portugal’s first World Cup home design produced by PUMA.

The away kit continues the ocean theme in a white and lagoon-green colour combination. A large sea-inspired graphic spreads across the upper chest, shoulders and sleeves, forming a pointed shape beneath the centrally positioned Portugal crest, with darker contrasting PUMA branding and green side-panel details. PUMA and the Portuguese Football Federation describe the alternative shirt as a design connected to the home kit’s maritime concept and to generations of players who have represented Portugal.
