Norway 2026 World Cup home and away kits

Nike designed Norway’s 2026 FIFA World Cup home kit as a direct visual reference to the Norwegian flag and national heritage. The shirt uses a red base crossed by a large navy-blue Scandinavian cross outlined in white, creating a flag-inspired graphic across the front and continuing onto the sleeves. A tonal ornamental pattern within the blue cross is taken from the Urnes Stave Church, while the Norway crest is positioned centrally over the cross and the white Nike Swoosh appears on the chest. The design marks Norway’s return to the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998.

The away kit adopts an all-black design, including a black base, tonal Nike Swoosh and dark monochrome Norway crest. Nike and the Norwegian Football Federation developed the shirt around Norwegian Viking identity, with the federation describing the design as a reference to the country’s “viking mentality”; Viking-inspired graphic details also appear on the wider away strip. The World Cup collection additionally includes an all-white third kit based on the same minimal concept as the black away design.
