adidas designed Mexico’s 2026 FIFA World Cup home kit around the country’s pre-Hispanic visual heritage, with a large tonal graphic inspired by the Piedra del Sol dominating the front of the shirt. The jersey uses Mexico’s traditional green base with white adidas branding, a white federation crest and red-and-white trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs. The design also recalls the visual impact of Mexico’s 1998 World Cup shirt, while returning El Tri to green for a tournament the country will co-host.

The away kit switches to a clean white base with a subtle tonal geometric pattern, dark green and red detailing on the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs and shoulder stripes, and a monochrome federation crest. The adidas Trefoil logo gives the shirt a retro element, while adidas describes the design as inspired by sacred geometry and ancient temples. Together, the two shirts connect Mexico’s 2026 collection with the country’s historic art and architecture through a bold green home jersey and a more restrained white alternative design.
