Vitória’s badge is a pointed shield with a black outer edge and white inner border, split horizontally into a bright red upper half and solid black lower half, over which a large interlaced white “ECV” monogram stretches from top to bottom. The red-and-black rubro-negro palette reflects the colours adopted by the club in the early 20th century and later fixed as its core identity.  

The current monogram shield descends from a 1940s redesign that replaced the older nautical crest and updated the initials to “ECV” when the name was regularised as Esporte Clube Vitória.  Cleaned of extra details in recent tweaks, it now focuses purely on colours, initials and shield shape.
