Spezia Calcio’s badge uses a black-and-white shield with the word “SPEZIA” in bold lettering across the top, a large circular frame in the centre, and an intertwined “SC” monogram inside it. The founding year, 1906, appears at the bottom of the shield.

The “SC” letters stand for Spezia Calcio and are based on the club’s traditional typography, restoring one of the most recognizable parts of Spezia’s historic identity. The black-and-white palette reflects the club’s long-established colours and its nickname “I Bianchi,” meaning “The Whites.”

Spezia traces its football origins to 1906, when the football section of Sport Club Spezia was founded in La Spezia. The club later became Spezia Football Club in 1911, with Alberto Picco among its early figures.

The current badge was introduced for the 2025–26 season, replacing the 2023 rebrand and returning to a more classic shield-and-monogram design rooted in Spezia’s older visual tradition.
