Sparta Praha’s badge is a black circular crest with a white ring, a large white “S” in the centre, three gold stars above, and small red, yellow and blue blocks at the bottom. The design uses a stripped-back version of the club’s historic colour system.
The “S” stands for Sparta, the club name inspired by the fighting spirit of ancient Sparta. The red, yellow and blue details come from the club’s original tricolour: red and yellow were the colours of royal Prague, while blue was added by Sparta’s founders as a symbol of Europe.
The current minimalist badge was introduced in 2021 as part of a new visual identity, replacing the previous crest after almost thirty years. The three stars mark Sparta’s league-title record, following the convention of one star for every ten championships.
