Real Valladolid’s badge uses a crowned shield surrounded by a laurel wreath and crossed by a sword. The inner shield combines Valladolid’s red-and-gold civic arms with violet-and-white vertical stripes, while the circular monogram at the bottom contains the club initials.

The castles, flames and red field come from Valladolid’s city heraldry, while the violet-and-white stripes reflect the club’s traditional colours. The royal crown represents the “Real” title, and the laurel wreath and sword refer to the Laureate Cross of San Fernando associated with the city.

Real Valladolid was founded in 1928 through the merger of Real Unión Deportiva and Club Deportivo Español. Its badge has long combined the club’s blanquivioleta identity with symbols taken from Valladolid’s coat of arms.

In 2022 the club introduced a simplified modern crest, but supporters later voted to restore the previous badge. The classic crest returned officially from July 2024.
