Racing Santander’s badge uses a crowned circular design with a white outer ring and the full name “Real Racing Club Santander.” The centre shows a green flag with the club monogram, a brown vintage football and a black background, all framed by gold trim.

The green-and-white flag reflects Racing’s traditional colours and its “verdiblanco” identity. The crown comes from the royal title granted by King Alfonso XIII in 1923, when the club became Real Racing Club de Santander.

Racing was founded in 1913 as Santander Racing Club and became one of the original clubs in the first Spanish league season in 1928–29. During Franco’s ban on foreign words in club names, it was renamed Real Santander in 1941.

The Racing name returned in 1973, and the badge has kept the same core identity: the royal crown, the circular frame, the green flag, the football and the Santander name.
