Modena FC’s badge shows a stylized yellow canary outlined in dark blue, standing above the wording “MODENA FC” and the year 1912. Unlike a traditional shield, the current logo is built as a simple mascot-led mark, using only the club’s yellow-and-blue colours.

The canary is Modena’s historic symbol and directly reflects the club’s nickname, “I Canarini” — “The Canaries.” Yellow and blue have been the club’s colours since its foundation and remain the core of Modena’s visual identity.

Modena Football Club was founded on 5 April 1912 through the merger of Football Club Audax Modena and Associazione Studentesca del Calcio Modena. Earlier crests often used shields, monograms and more classic football imagery, but the canary remained strongly associated with the club.

The current badge was introduced in 2022, replacing the historic shield with a cleaner, more recognizable canary logo designed for modern digital use.
