Eintracht Braunschweig’s badge is a blue circular crest with white lettering around the outer ring and a yellow inner field. At the centre is a white shield containing a red lion, with the full name “Braunschweiger Turn- und Sportverein Eintracht e.V. 1895” around the border.
The red lion comes from the coat of arms of Braunschweig and is rooted in the city’s historic association with Henry the Lion. It also connects directly to the club’s nickname, “Die Löwen” — “The Lions.”
The club was founded in 1895 as FuCC Eintracht 1895, later becoming Braunschweiger TSV Eintracht von 1895. Blue and yellow are the club’s traditional colours and are also linked to the historic colours of Brunswick.
Eintracht’s badge has changed several times, including the famous Jägermeister-era redesign in the 1970s. In 2011, club members voted to return to a traditional round crest, which was introduced from the 2012–13 season.
