Cremonese’s crest is a round red emblem framed by a grey, ball-like ring, with the white initials “U”, “S” and “C” set around the edge and a small shield of Cremona at the top. The inner shield reproduces the city’s coat of arms, with its vertical red-and-white stripes, blue band and distinctive golden arm-and-ball device, directly tying the badge to municipal heraldry.  The circular frame and letters were introduced in the late 1990s, when the club returned to a simplified version of its traditional imagery after using a squarer shield from 1985 to 1997 that already featured the same golden ball motif.
