Al Najma Sport Club’s badge is a minimalist star emblem in green and black. The mark forms a five-point star with sharp geometric sections, while the upper black shape creates a stylised central point inside the design. Unlike many Saudi club badges, this version does not include a shield, football, founding year or written club name.
The star directly reflects the club’s name: “Al Najma” means “the star” in Arabic. The green, black and white identity also matches the colours associated with the club, which were formalised in its early history and later adjusted when white was added to Saudi club emblems in the 1970s.
Al Najma was founded in Unaizah in 1960 by local young players who first formed a team known as Al-Dhali’ah. The club later used the names Al-Nahda and Al-Orobah before becoming Al Najma Sport Club in 1968, with official registration following in 1969.
