Real Madrid unveil 2026–27 home kit with crown-jewel pattern and new green-pink palette
Real Madrid have unveiled their 2026–27 home kit, with adidas introducing a distinctive dark green and pink colour combination to the club’s traditional white shirt. Inspired by the crown in the Real Madrid crest, the jersey uses patterned details based on the diamonds and pearls of one of football’s most recognisable badges.

The new home shirt keeps the familiar white base associated with Real Madrid, but moves away from the black, gold and purple details often used on recent home kits. Dark green appears on the adidas logo, Emirates Fly Better sponsor, collar and sleeve cuffs, while the three adidas stripes across the shoulders are finished in pink.
Across the white fabric, the shirt carries a subtle tonal pattern developed around the geometry of diamonds and pearls. The same crown-inspired concept continues on the green collar and cuffs, adding texture to a design that remains relatively clean from a distance but becomes more detailed at close range.
The full kit follows the same colour direction, with white shorts and socks completed by dark green and pink accents.

The crown is more than a decorative reference in Real Madrid’s visual identity. It was added to the club crest after King Alfonso XIII granted Madrid Football Club the title of “Real” in 1920, allowing the team to adopt the royal crown and become known as Real Madrid Football Club.
For the 2026–27 shirt, adidas has moved that historic symbol from the badge into the wider construction of the jersey. Rather than using the Santiago Bernabéu as the central theme, as on the previous home kit, the new design draws directly from the club crest itself.
Dark green enters Real Madrid’s home kit identity
The colour palette also gives the new shirt a notable place in Real Madrid kit history. Pink is not entirely new to the club’s home colours: adidas used pink detailing on the 2014–15 home shirt and again on the white 2020–21 jersey.
Dark green, however, is a more unusual choice for a Real Madrid home shirt. The club previously wore a dark green third kit during the 2012–13 season, but the 2026–27 design brings the colour into the home kit for the first time as a major secondary accent, appearing across the branding, collar and sleeve finishes.
adidas continue a partnership dating back to 1998
The shirt is produced by adidas, which has supplied Real Madrid kits continuously since 1998. The German brand’s latest home design combines the club’s historic white identity with its current performance construction, including lightweight engineered fabric, body-mapped ventilation zones and CLIMACOOL+ technology intended to improve airflow and moisture management during matches.
The Real Madrid 2026–27 home kit was officially unveiled on 3 June 2026 and is available through Real Madrid stores, the club’s online shop, selected adidas stores and adidas football channels.
