Leeds bring back the White Rose crest on 2026–27 away kit with adidas Trefoil
Leeds United have unveiled their 2026–27 away kit, a yellow adidas Originals shirt that brings two heritage elements into the club’s next Premier League campaign: the adidas Trefoil and the White Rose crest.

The shirt is the first Leeds United kit of the current adidas partnership to feature the Trefoil logo. It also sees the return of the White Rose crest, last used on a Leeds shirt during the 1998–99 season.
A yellow away shirt built around Leeds and Yorkshire identity
The new away kit uses an EQT yellow base with night navy and white detailing. The shirt features a V-neck collar with twin-tipped trim, navy adidas shoulder stripes, the adidas Originals Trefoil on the chest and the White Rose crest opposite it. The Red Bull sponsor is also presented in navy across the front.
A tonal White Rose pattern runs across the yellow fabric, adding a subtle graphic layer to the shirt while continuing the Yorkshire reference established by the returning crest. The full away strip is completed by navy shorts and yellow socks.

The first Trefoil shirt of the Leeds adidas partnership
Adidas returned as Leeds United’s technical supplier in 2020, but the 2026–27 away shirt is the first kit produced during that partnership to use the adidas Originals Trefoil rather than the modern performance logo.
The change gives the shirt a more retro-led identity, reinforced by the yellow, navy and white colour combination and the return of the White Rose crest. Rather than introducing a new symbol, the design draws on two established visual references: Leeds’ traditional yellow away shirts and Yorkshire’s white rose.
A shirt released during Leeds’ 400th anniversary year
The new shirt also arrives during the Leeds 400 celebrations. On 13 July 2026, the city marks 400 years since receiving its first Royal Charter from King Charles I, an anniversary being celebrated throughout the year across sport, heritage and culture.
JD Sports describes the 2026–27 away shirt as celebrating 400 years of the city of Leeds, with its tonal White Rose pattern and county-inspired crest connecting the kit to that anniversary year.

Launched with a Yorkshire Dales campaign
Leeds United and adidas revealed the shirt through a campaign film set in the Yorkshire Dales and narrated by former captain Lucas Radebe. The club states that the film focuses on the loyalty of Leeds supporters and the wider connection between the club, the city and Yorkshire.
The 2026–27 Leeds United away shirt is available now through the club’s official store, adidas and selected JD Sports stores. A long-sleeve version is also available for supporters this season.
