Palermo FC’s badge is a modern, standalone mark built around a stylized black eagle’s head, shaped into a sharp “P” form. Three diagonal feathers appear to the left in black and pink, while the club name is written below in gold lettering.

The eagle is Palermo’s historic football symbol and comes from the coat of arms of the city of Palermo. It also connects to the club’s nickname “Le Aquile,” meaning “The Eagles.” The pink and black colours define Palermo’s famous “Rosanero” identity.

Palermo was founded in 1900 as Anglo-Palermitan Athletic and Foot-Ball Club. The club originally used red and blue, before adopting pink and black in 1907, a colour choice traditionally linked to the “sweet and bitter” nature of the team’s results.

The current badge was introduced in 2019 after the club’s refoundation, replacing the previous shield-style crest while keeping the eagle and pink-black identity at the centre of Palermo’s visual history.
