Maringá Futebol Clube’s badge is a minimalist black monogram-style mark formed from the letters “MFC.” Its vertical and angular shapes create a modern emblem above the word “Maringá FC,” without a traditional shield, star, mascot or founding year.

The current badge was introduced with the club’s 2019 visual identity. Its design highlights the M, F and C initials while making a subtle reference to the Cathedral of Maringá, the city’s best-known landmark, through tall, pointed architectural lines.

Maringá FC was founded in 2010 as Grêmio Metropolitano Maringá, with the goal of reviving professional football in the city. The club later used the names Metropolitano Maringá and Maringá Futebol Clube, and its earlier badges followed more conventional shield designs.

The 2019 rebrand replaced the previous crest, which included a star for the 2010 Campeonato Paranaense Third Division title. The new identity repositioned the club around the idea of representing Maringá itself.
