LOSC Lille’s current badge is a navy-edged pentagon, echoing the shape of Lille’s citadel, split into red and blue fields with a bold white mastiff head facing right above the white “LOSC” initials and a small fleur-de-lis at the base. Unveiled in 2018, this “new generation” crest was designed to gather all key symbols of the club—initials, dog, fleur-de-lis and traditional red-white-blue colours—into a single, compact emblem.
The mastiff reflects the long-standing nickname Les Dogues, popularised from the 1930s and appearing on the crest from the early 1980s. The fleur-de-lis comes from Lille’s historic coat of arms, where it recalls marsh irises around the medieval city.
