The white-background version of the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo uses the same core mark as the black version: a photographic FIFA World Cup Trophy placed in front of a stacked “26,” with the FIFA wordmark below. Here, the oversized numerals are white on a black surrounding field, making the trophy and year shape the whole composition.
The design was created to make the trophy and tournament year the fixed centre of the 2026 identity. FIFA described it as the first World Cup emblem to combine an image of the actual trophy with the hosting year, rather than using only a stylized tournament symbol.
FIFA unveiled the official brand in Los Angeles in May 2023 under the “We Are 26” campaign. The tournament is hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, making it the first FIFA World Cup staged across three countries.
The white version works as a cleaner contrast variant of the same identity system. Host-city emblems later adapted the trophy-and-26 structure with local colours and graphics, while keeping the central format recognizable.
