Clube Náutico Capibaribe’s badge is a red-and-white shield built around the club’s traditional nautical symbols: two crossed oars, a football and the initials “CNC.” The current version also includes the foundation year 1901, six red stars above the shield and a small star below the date.
The oars recall the sport that created the club, rowing, while the football marks the section that made Náutico nationally known. The initials stand for Clube Náutico Capibaribe, named after the Capibaribe River in Recife. Red and white are the club’s official colours and the basis of its alvirrubro identity.
Náutico’s first badge, from 1901, already referred to rowing, with an anchor, two oars and the CNC initials. In 1931, the club began using its flag on the uniform, later surrounded by six stars for its historic Pernambuco state hexacampeonato of the 1960s.
The modern badge evolved through redesigns in 1995, 2008 and 2010, keeping the oars, ball and CNC monogram as the core identity.
