CD Macará’s badge uses a broad shield-like outline with a dark navy border and a white interior. The upper section contains the word “MACARA” in tall, condensed navy lettering, stretched vertically to dominate the top half of the crest.
A thick horizontal navy line separates the name from the lower section. Beneath it, the badge is built from large sky-blue and white vertical blocks, with the central blue block ending in a pointed shape that follows the bottom curve of the crest.
The design is simple and highly readable: there are no extra symbols, dates, stars or animals, only the club name, the shield form and the blue-and-white colour structure. The sky-blue tone matches Macará’s traditional identity, with the club commonly nicknamed “Celestes.”
Club Deportivo Macará was founded on 25 August 1939 and is based in Ambato, Ecuador. The club is known as “El Ídolo Ambateño” and plays at Estadio Bellavista, a stadium it shares with city rival Técnico Universitario.
