Angers SCO’s current crest is a tall white diamond edged in gold and black, with “ANGERS” in small type above large “SCO” initials, over vertical black and white stripes and a small golden fleur-de-lis near the base. The diamond outline and black-and-white bands are long-standing symbols of the club and were reaffirmed in the 2021 redesign launched under the slogan “Notre Diamant” (“Our Diamond”), which aimed to modernise the badge without losing its historic DNA.
The new emblem also weaves in local heritage: the fleur-de-lis, a royal symbol, echoes the Anjou territory, while the subtle arch and forms around it evoke the Porte des Champs and towers of Angers castle, anchoring the crest firmly in its home city.
