Al Okhdood (الأخدود) badge meaning and origin

Al Okhdood Club’s badge uses a minimalist light-blue shield shape built around a sharp central monogram. The design combines curved and angular cuts to create a modern abstract mark, with small “FC” lettering placed at the top of the emblem.

The club is based in Najran, and its name refers to Al-Okhdood, the historic archaeological site associated with the region. Al Okhdood’s official history page describes the club’s identity colours as sky blue, white and black, but this simplified badge version presents the mark itself in blue only.

Al Okhdood was established in 1976 by a decision of the General President of Youth Welfare. The club was initially affiliated with the clubs of the Asir region, and its early headquarters were in the Aba Al-Saud neighbourhood before later moving within Najran.

The current badge gives the club a compact digital-era identity, focusing on a clean shield outline, a stylised internal letterform and the light-blue colour most visible in its modern visual branding.
