Bayern Munich’s badge is a circular crest with a red outer ring carrying the inscription “FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN,” enclosing a field of blue-and-white lozenges taken from the Bavarian flag.

The diamonds are the key element: they come directly from the arms of the Free State of Bavaria, turning the logo into a statement of regional pride as much as club identity.

Earlier emblems used only an interlocking “FCBM” monogram and, later, simple blue or red shields before the Bavarian colours were added to the crest in the 1950s and gradually refined into today’s clean roundel.
