Hull City bring back HCAFC logo as Oxen makes Premier League debut
Hull City’s 2026-27 home shirt introduces a heritage-led look built around the return of the vintage HCAFC lettered logo.

For their return to the top flight, the Tigers have brought back the vintage HCAFC lettered logo for the first time in 47 years. The small white monogram replaces the usual tiger crest on the chest, giving the shirt a very different visual identity from recent Hull City kits.
The design takes direct inspiration from Hull City’s 1978/79 home shirt, with wide amber and black vertical stripes, a white polo collar and white sleeve cuffs. The retro reference is clear, but the logo choice is what makes the shirt stand out. Hull have gone beyond the usual throwback details by putting a vintage club mark at the centre of the shirt.
The timing also matters. Hull City are heading back to the Premier League, making this shirt the visual identity of a new top-flight chapter for the club.

The other major change is on the supplier side. The 2026-27 home shirt is Hull City’s first kit with Oxen Sports, ending the previous Kappa era. Oxen’s multi-year partnership will cover on-pitch kit, training wear and supporter retail products, and Hull City become the brand’s first Premier League football club.
That gives the kit a strong local angle too. Oxen describes itself as a brand formed in Hull’s Fruit Market area, so its Premier League debut feels tied to the city as much as to the shirt itself.
The result is a clean, heritage-heavy home shirt: classic Hull City colours, a 1970s reference, a rare HCAFC logo return, and the start of Oxen’s biggest football partnership so far.
