The new Levski Sofia logo keeps the club’s familiar blue, white, red and yellow identity, with the large stylised “Л” remaining the central visual element. The redesign is based on one of Levski’s historical crest models, but the shape has been cleaned up for stronger use across digital platforms, merchandise and club materials.
The most visible change is the removal of “Sofia” and “1914” from the main badge. Fauna Studio founder Hristo Gurtsov explained that these details became difficult to read at smaller sizes, so the club moved toward a stronger standalone symbol without extra words or dates.
A wider visual identity for a new era
The badge update is part of a full visual system created with Fauna Studio. Levski said the identity includes custom typefaces, a defined colour palette and brand rules for use on kits, tickets, partner materials, fan products, social media, media work and stadium applications.
The timing makes the change more significant. Levski’s first Bulgarian title in 17 years already marked a new sporting chapter for the club, and the simplified crest now gives that moment a clearer visual identity. The result is not a completely new symbol, but a sharper version of a historic Levski Sofia logo built for modern use.
