The design idea is simple and very effective. Each shirt uses Brazil’s classic yellow base, green detailing and blue accents, but the club badge treatment keeps the identity of Flamengo, Internacional and Cruzeiro at the center of the shirt.
Brazil colors, club identity
The three Adidas Brazil Edition jerseys share the same visual base: a bright yellow body, green shoulder stripes, green collar and sleeve details, plus white trim on the cuffs and neckline.
The shirts are clearly made for the World Cup moment, but they are not Brazil national team jerseys. They are club shirts using the national color palette, which makes the collection more interesting from a logo and identity point of view.
Three different logo treatments
Cruzeiro’s shirt keeps the club’s five-star constellation on the chest, applied in blue to match the Brazil-inspired palette.
Flamengo use their CRF monogram with a single blue star above it, paired with a blue Adidas logo on the opposite side.
Internacional have the most specific color adjustment. The SCI monogram and Adidas logo appear in green, avoiding blue on the chest of an Inter shirt.
Adidas finds its World Cup route in Brazil
The collection also works as a clever brand move from Adidas. Nike owns the official Brazil national team kit space, but Adidas still has major club partnerships in the country.
By giving Flamengo, Internacional and Cruzeiro their own yellow Brazil Edition shirts, Adidas creates a World Cup product for Brazilian supporters who want to support the national team through their club.
