Clube de Regatas Brasil’s badge is a white shield outlined in red, with two red crossed stripes in the upper section and the red initials “CRB” shaped to follow the lower curve of the shield. The mark uses only the club’s traditional red-and-white colours.
The initials stand for Clube de Regatas Brasil, founded in Maceió, Alagoas, on 20 September 1912. The club’s name reflects its origin as a rowing club, while its official flag keeps the clearest nautical reference: a lifebuoy with two crossed oars, recalling CRB’s early regatta history.
CRB was created in the Pajuçara neighbourhood after an earlier rowing project, Clube Alagoano de Regatas, did not continue. Football arrived later, with the club becoming the first Campeonato Alagoano champion in 1927.
The badge has remained simpler than the flag, avoiding mascots, stars or landmarks. Its shield, red border, crossed bands and curved CRB lettering preserve the club’s regatiano identity in a compact football emblem.
