Club Football Estrela da Amadora’s badge is a gold-outlined shield divided into three vertical panels: red, white and green. A large gold star sits in the centre, with the letters “C,” “F,” “E” and “A” placed around it to form the club’s initials.
The star is the clearest link to the club name, Estrela, which means “star” in Portuguese. The red, white and green colours define Estrela da Amadora’s tricolour identity and were adopted in the early 1950s after the club received kits from Brazilian side Fluminense.
The original Clube de Futebol Estrela da Amadora was founded on 22 January 1932 in Amadora, near Lisbon. After financial collapse and extinction in 2011, the current Club Football Estrela da Amadora was formed in 2020 through a merger involving Clube Desportivo Estrela and Club Sintra Football.
The modern badge preserves the historic star, initials and tricolour layout associated with the older Estrela identity.
