Qarabağ FK’s badge is a white shield outlined in dark blue and gold, with two horse figures flanking a central football. The centre ring carries “Qarabağ FK” and the year 1987, with a crown above, a row of small stars below and two larger stars above the shield.

The horse is the badge’s main symbol and is officially based on the Karabakh horse, one of the region’s most famous cultural symbols. It also connects to the club’s nickname, Atlılar, meaning “The Horsemen.”

The modern Qarabağ identity dates from 1987, although the club traces earlier roots to teams founded in Aghdam before that name was adopted. Qarabağ became strongly associated with Aghdam and the Karabakh region, even after the war forced the club to play away from its original home.

The horse emblem was used on club materials before it appeared on the shirt in 2004. Modern versions keep the Karabakh horse, 1987 date, football and regional name at the centre of the club identity.
