France 2026 World Cup home and away kits
Nike designed the France home and away kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup around a shared visual reference: the Statue of Liberty, gifted by France to the United States. The home kit uses France’s traditional blue base with a woven repeating FFF pattern, a classic white polo collar and tricolour sleeve details. Its cockerel crest and Nike Swoosh are finished in a metallic copper tone, referencing the statue’s original copper appearance before oxidation.
The France away kit, named “Liberté,” continues the concept with a pale vert-de-gris colour inspired by the oxidised copper patina of the Statue of Liberty. The design combines green and white threads in the fabric, with copper-toned crest and Nike details, subtle graphic references to the monument’s crown and small tricolour accents. Together, the two shirts connect France’s traditional football identity with a visual theme created for the 2026 tournament in North America.
